AB A/S can today announce that the chairman of the parent club, Ulrik Rasch, has chosen to resign from the AB A/S board. In addition to his role at the parent club, Rasch has been a member of the board of directors of AB A/S since Five Castles Football Group took over the majority of the shares in the club in November 2022.
“It’s a decision I’ve made because of the increasing busyness at work,” Rasch says.
“Between my full-time job and my role as Chairman of AB, I currently do not have time to continue on the AB A/S Board of Directors, but I will continue to work with the owners and the CEO to ensure continued success in both AB A/S and AB. AB A/S’s Board of Directors continues to be responsive to my suggestions on how we can further strengthen the collaboration.”
Rasch has been Chairman of the Board of AB since March 2015.
“Ulrik is a key person and valued partner for AB A/S, and he will continue to be so even though he steps down from AB A/S’ board,” says CEO, Sofie Brandi Petersen.
“The relationship with AB is very important to us, and we will continue to work with AB to ensure success for both parties. The club looks forward to continuing to work with Ulrik, and if his schedule allows it in the future, he always has a seat on AB A/S’s board.”
