Akademisk Boldklub Gladsaxe has appointed Simon Ervolder Andresen as interim head coach. Simon has been part of the club for over 4 years, where he has coached both AB’s U17 and U19 teams.
“We have to go out and deliver some good performances in the remaining matches. We are in a difficult situation, but we have to pull ourselves closer together and find our strength as a team. The team may not have had the best results so far, but we still have a common goal to work towards,” says Simon Ervolder Andresen.
Simon takes over the coaching job from Patrick Birch Braune, and is expected to lead the team for the rest of the spring season.
On Sunday, the team will be playing again against Esbjerg fB. Regarding the match, he says: “We will be working very hard on the training pitch leading up to the match. The next few days we will focus on adjusting some of the things that need to be improved. Esbjerg is a good team, but so are we, and we will try to show that on Sunday.”
The club has already begun work on recruiting a permanent head coach, and hopes to present a candidate in the near future.
