Training match in Spain
As you know, AB’s squad is at training camp this week. On Thursday, a training match was scheduled against Torrent CF. The match ended with an AB victory of 2-0. The score was 0-0 until halftime, but then the goals came in the second half. First Christoffer Thrane scored 1-0 after an assist from Daniel Warmbach, and then Søren Ilsøe scored 2-0 after an assist from Alicino. Head coach Patrick Birch Braune had the following comments on the match: “I was generally satisfied with the team’s performance in today’s training match against Torrent CF. We played a good game against a team that likes to have possession and press high up the pitch. We saw some good periods in the second half in particular, where we solved some of the challenges we were presented with in the first half. The players have been working hard on the training pitch this week, but of course there is always room for improvement.
