Tobias Brogaard is back
AB’s first goalkeeper of the fall season, Tobias Brogaard, returns after announcing at the beginning of the month that he was quitting to embark on a life away from professional football.
“I’m very happy. This is what I’ve always wanted. I’m looking forward to continuing from the fantastic fall and taking it into the spring. It has always been my ambition and desire to be part of the project,” says Tobias Brogaard. 28-year-old Tobias Brogaard announced in early January that he would be leaving AB after a period where he made a huge contribution to the team and played an important role in a fall that only got better and better. The decision to leave AB was partly due to Tobias Brogaard’s concern for his family. Now the influential 28-year-old goalkeeper returns to the club where, in his 12 games, he was involved in just one defeat and the team with him as first goalkeeper achieved a points average of 2.6 per game. “It happened quite quickly during the week when I was contacted by AB again. The situation had changed and we could meet about the conditions for a collaboration. It was never their or my intention that we shouldn’t work together, but my conditions off the pitch had just changed,” says Tobias Brogaard, who is looking forward to meeting his teammates again. “I’m really looking forward to it, and I couldn’t resist writing to a few of them when the deal was finalized.” AB is pleased with Tobias Brogaard’s dedication to AB and looks forward to continuing the good cooperation with the goalkeeper.
