Tomorrow, AB Gladsaxe will face Skive IK at 15:00 at Gladsaxe Stadium in the last match of the first part of the regular season. After that, all teams will play once again until March 10, 2024. After Saturday’s game, another 5 games await before the team goes on winter break.
In September, Skive IK said goodbye to head coach Alexander Fischer and has just hired Anders Jensen as the new head coach. Anders Jensen has a past as a coach in Kolding and Middelfart, among other places. AB must therefore expect to meet a fired up Skive IK side, who will show the new coach that he must focus on them in the future, even if Anders Jensen only takes over after the match against AB.
After last Saturday’s 0-2 home defeat to Nykøbing FC, Skive IK occupies 10th place in the 2nd division with 6 points. With the great draw 1-1 on the difficult away ground in Riisvangen against Aarhus Fremad last Saturday, AB stays in the Top 6 in 6th place with 13 points.

After a long injury break, it is gratifying that Søren Ilsøe is once again entering the gross squad.
After today’s training, Rasmus Brodersen says: “We are looking forward to coming to home, because we are good at home. We have to keep playing so well that other teams fear coming to us. We are going for 3 points. In the match against Aarhus Fremad, we showed that we work well together as a team and that we can easily play at the top. When we bring our qualities into play, all teams have problems with us, so we have to continue to do that.”
Head coach David Roufpanah says after the last training session of the day: “We have to face Skive, who have had a hard time with their results. But they are also a difficult team to play against. They work hard together. They play a compact defense and are quick on their transitions. So we have to be very attentive and come in with high energy and if we don’t, then it will be difficult.
We have to play the way we want with a high pace, which we have to practice for 95 minutes and stay focused. Last week against Aarhus Fremad we had a strange finish where we made some mistakes. But for 70 minutes we played right up against a really good top team, where we could play at the same level as Aarhus Fremad.
We also have to show that we can play at the same level against a lower-ranked team at home, otherwise it doesn’t matter. There are no easy fights and Skive is fighting for their lives”.
