AB Gladsaxe takes tomorrow, Saturday 12 August against Brabrand IF at Gladsaxe Stadium. The match will kick off at 15:00. The match is refereed by Benjamin Seferovic and on the lines he has Danny Kolding and Martin Egtved Munch Jørgensen.
AB has often had problems with Brabrand IF and their physical and withdrawn style of play, and it often becomes close matches.
However, the last match between the two teams in November 2022 ended with a safe 3-0 victory for AB in Aarhus.
Brabrand IF lost their first game of the season with 2-1 at home against Thisted FC.
AB’s team and coaching staff were disappointed after the last game, which ended 0-0 in Nykøbing F. It was a game where AB burned many big chances and which AB should have won.
But there is always a new game and a new opportunity to pick up three points. So we cross our fingers that it will happen against Brabrand IF.

Head coach David Roufpanah said: “We know it’s a strong opponent we’re going to face. It is a cohesive team that plays physically, so it will be a tough match. We’ll have to see how the game develops, but either way, we’re prepared for different scenarios. We have had many good moments in training during the week and have worked on various details in the attacking game. Even though we have had a good week of training, it is in the match that matters.
The most important thing is that we work hard and work together – and then we have to be efficient”.
The coaching staff has the following gross squad for the match:
1 Indy Groothuizen
3 Erik Lindell
4 Adrien Koudelka
5 Rasmus Brodersen
