It’s time for HIK and 3 points on the road
There’s another tournament match on the program when AB Gladsaxe takes the short trip to HIK on Friday 2 September 2022. The match referee will blow the whistle at 17.45. Note that the match will be played at Bregnegårdsvej 25. In Tuesday’s cup match, AB advanced in the tournament with a victory over Kastrup BK. HIK is out of the cup tournament after defeat to Nykøbing FC. The match between HIK and AB is set to be exciting and evenly matched. Both teams have four points. HIK lost their last match on the difficult away ground in Brabrand. AB won at home at Gladsaxe Stadion over BK FREM. Head coach Patrick Birch Braune says: “We will face HIK. We had a really good performance and a fantastic win against FREM. A fantastic Friday night, which we will try to build on. It’s been a period with three games in seven days and that has led to a lot of rotation, which also caused a bit of instability in the cup match against Kastrup. So it’s about being fresh. It’s about being physically fit. We need to be mentally ready. We know that HIK comes with speed in their legs. HIK has been to Brabrand and Brabrand is a really tough team to face and HIK also lost the match. So HIK will come out with a maturity after such a Brabrand match. So we need to show quality in the game from start to finish and then hopefully we’ll have another great Friday night”.
