The trip goes to Jutland

Tomorrow Saturday 26 October 2024 AB Gladsaxe will travel to Jutland for the second longest away trip of the season. The destination is Hancock Arena in Skive, where Skive IK awaits. The match will be kicked off at 14.00 by the about Benjamin Seferovic, and he has on the lines Søren Stagaard and Mathias Madsen.

Last weekend, AB drew 0-0 against HIK at Gladsaxe Stadium and is now ninth with 14 points. Last weekend, Skive played 33 against Næstved away from home. Næstved’s equalizer came in five minutes of overtime. Martin Huldahl scored two goals for Skive, which he also did against AB in September. He is also number one on the top scorer list in the 2nd division, soAB really has to keep a sharp eye on the goal-scoring striker. Skive is fourth with 17 points.

AB has Darren Sidoel, Flamur Dzelinthe and Marcus Bobjerg in quarantine. Skive has no in quarantine.

The last match at Gladsaxe Stadion against Skive was in mid-September and it ended with 2-1 to Skive. Christian Wagner reduced the deficit in overtime. AB fell behind after just eight minutes, and Skive scored again after just 20 minutes. Trailing 2-0 And then it was uphill. It was a game that was effectively decided in the 1st half, where Skive got through far too easily. AB weretoo bad in the pressure and far too bad on the ball.

For AB, there is still contact with Top-6. They are two points up and there are still ten games left in the regular season. It’s starting to tighten up, so the team will soon get some wins on their account – it’s very much up to start Saturday in Jutland.

AB’s head coach Joey Gudjonsson is looking forward to meeting Skive.

We go to Skive on Saturday and we are in really good and positive shape in the squad. We are definitely on the hunt for they Three points that we really want. We have had good performances in the games and I think we deserved more.

Nevertheless, the squad is still full of energy and everyone is positive. I can see the expression in their eyes when we train and their approach to training. They are working to ensure that we can get the three points.

I think we’ve become better with the ball and we’re also better organised when we’re without the ball.

Skive’s front player is really good and we have to wrap him up so that he doesn’t get into good positions. We have to make it difficult for Skive to get to opportunities to create chances. We have to go to them and give them less time and space to deal with the ball.

I think we have the basis for taking the three points tomorrow,” concludes Joey Gudjonsson.

The long trip to North Jutland does not take the mood away from the squad, and Marco Ramkilde states that everyone is looking forward to the match and that the team is going on the field to win.

We know that we will meet a team that who play physically and preferably with long balls. They want to hit the ball on their attackers earlyon and then collectthe second balls – that’s where we have to try to shut down their offensive play.

We have to play on a pitch that probably won’tke is the best. So we must prepare for the fight to be fought and that we have to pick up the second balls both offensively and defensivelyAnd so it was a good idea. It will be really important to win that space, so we focus on that.

We were not very good in the first leg at Gladsaxe Stadium, so we really go on the pitch in Skive to get revenge us. D éThe T we got last time was not good enough. It will it be tomorrow – it will be I have no doubt. We have had some really good training weeks, where we have adjusted some of the things that have not quite worked.

For the last game against HIK, we had a really good handle on the pressure game. Here Leading up to the Skive match, it has been the offensive runs especially in the field, where we have been able to adjust how we position ourselves.

So we are positive and looking forward to the match“, concludes Marco Ramkilde.
