The home match against FC Nordsjælland is moved to Right to Dream Park

As announced earlier today, Gladsaxe Municipality has chosen to close Gladsaxe Stadium for this year due to a number of challenges. Therefore, AB has had to find a new pitch for the quarter-final match against FC Nordsjælland, and the choice has fallen on Right to Dream Park.

The club has done everything possible to ensure that the match could be held in Gladsaxe. Since the Vejle match, we have worked closely with the municipality, including by moving two division matches in an attempt to maintain the pitch, but unfortunately this was not possible.

In consultation with the Divisional Association, we also examined all other realistic and accessible solutions with the necessary quality of pitch, lighting, seating, TV production options and lounge facilities required for a quarter-final.

No solution with natural grass was possible, and after dialogue between our CEO, the board and the sports staff, Right to Dream Park was considered the best artificial turf solution.

We understand that this decision is disappointing for our fans, who deserved to see a quarter-final match at Gladsaxe Stadium. We will do our best to create a good experience at Right to Dream Park, and FC Nordsjælland has been extremely accommodating to ensure this.

We thank them for their cooperation, and we look forward to fighting hard in the two clashes against them.
