AB A/S is proud to announce the successful completion of a new investment round, which includes financing from minority shareholder Green Owls Football Holdings (“Green Owls”), which has acquired 25% of the club’s shares.
This investment demonstrates a strong confidence in the club’s strategic vision and the progress achieved in the business under the ownership of Five Castles Football Group (“FCFG”) since November 2022.
“It’s an exciting day for the club,” said FCFG director Andy Glockner. “Since our acquisition, we have attracted significant outside interest in AB A/S, but a great deal of work was first required to properly position the club for future success. This is now the right time and the right partner to help advance that success. We remain steadfast in our commitment to bring AB A/S back to its rightful place in Danish football, while ensuring the club continues to have a positive impact in the Gladsaxe community.
The capital injection will be used to further the club’s mission by strengthening the team, enhancing the fan experience, expanding sponsor partnerships, and deepening community outreach.
