Captain Adrien Koudelka is annoyed by the lack of use of the chances.
“Ithink we had our chances to score today. Of course, it became difficult after the red card, where HIK pressed us more and we were left to defend, so we had to send long balls off. Done didn’t give much, and HIK was closest to scoring in the end.
We are not lucky at the moment, but maybe with a win, we will get into a good flow again and get rhythm in the game so that we can score goals when we have the chances,” concludes Adrien Koudelka.
Head coach Joey Gudjonsson found it positive to get a point from the game.
“It was a tough fight. HIK is a good team and they play well. Still, we pressed them in both halves, And we win balls higher on the pitch. We have some good options. Marco has two great chances. One manages the goalkeeper and the other goes close to the goal. Agust also has two good chances in the 2nd half, and Pachanga has a good shot that is saved on the line. Mikkel Brund throws a long throw-in into the box, and it also ends with a fine finish close to goal.
I don’t see fault with the players’ efforts, because they work really hard all the time. The results are not going our way at the moment. We fall a bit in the attacking game, as Marco and Mikkel have to retire. And it becomes really difficult for us when Darren gets the red card and has to go out.
Overall, we limited their chances, and where they came through, Gaub stood in the way. Lynx Didn’t have much to do today. He came well out in the field when needed and took what came.
We are very disappointed because we had moments in the game where we could have scored and taken the lead when we were still 11 players on the pitch. We felt that we could and should have scored when we got the chances. We got the chances and stood well in defence. We continue the fight in the last part of the match and get a point. It’s well fought home with one man less.”
The next match will be played in Skive on Saturday 26 October 2024 at 14:00 at Hancock Arena against Skive.
