It has certainly not gone AB Gladsaxe’s way in recent matches. It was a fight that has not lived up to expectations.
But now it has to be and it will affect HIK tomorrow, Friday 27 September at 19.00 in Gentofte Sportspark.

It will certainly not be an easy task. HIK comes to the match with great confidence after winning their last game of 2-0 against FC Helsingør in HIK is in 5th place in the 2nd division with 13 points. HIK has Haki Bedzeti in quarantine.

AB is now in 7th place with 11 points after two defeats in a row, first to Fremad Amager and most recently to Skive.
Philip Warburg referees the match and Simon Blond and Ulrik Gøtze are the line judges.

Today’s training was held in pouring rain, but there was a lot of focus on the game.

“We have to avoid the passivity that we showed especially in the first 20 minutes of the last game”, says ccoach Joey Gudjonsson, and continues: “We have to start better and not be so passive, because HIK is a team that wants to push the game forward quickly. They are good in transitions, and if we play so that we get into their pressing game, then they can hurt us.

We have to play the ball into the right spaces and play around their pressing play. We must keep the defence stable and be back quickly , even if we get on the field.

The passive play in the last match, was not something we had planned and it is not a style of play we want to stand for. We We have to be active and aggressive, put all our efforts into the game and use our strengths as a team,” concludes Joey Gudjonsson.

Captain Daniel A. Pedersen says that the work to get back is in focus.

We have to go back and find the good performance. That is our main focus. We have to chase a good performance. If we do that, we will also win the game. That is also the focus this week. We must find continuous good performances, not only in periods but over a longer period of time.

We have to work on that and it starts tomorrow and we will all give everything we have“, concludes Daniel A. Pedersen.

Last season’s two games between the two teams ended with a win for each. AB won at home at Gladsaxe Stadium and HIK won in Gentofte Sportspark.
