Akademisk Boldklub A/S has extended the contract of midfielder Mark Garly until June 2026.
Garly, 22, has scored 1 goal and made 1 assist in 23 games this season, 17 of which have been from the start in the 2nd division.
“Mark has grown a lot with us and shows so many valuable qualities for the team,” says head coach David Roufpanah.
“He is a good listener and is a crucial part of our football journey. In addition to being a player who contributes both in attack and defense, he is also a good guy who is very popular in the dressing room.”
Garly joined AB in July 2023 from Næstved BK. He received his football education in Næstved, where he played for their U19 team, among other things, before moving on to Næstved’s first team in February 2021.
“I am super happy to extend my agreement. It has been an instructive six months, where I have developed a lot. I’ve been very well received by all the fans, as well as everyone in AB, so it feels completely natural to extend.” says Garly himself.
