It’s time for a rematch!
AB Gladsaxe will face FC Roskilde on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at 13:00 at Gladsaxe Stadium. The first match between the two teams was also the first match of the season. On Saturday, August 6, AB lost 3-0 in Roskilde Idrætspark. Not exactly the start to the season the team and fans had been looking forward to. Since then, AB has done really well and last Saturday’s 3-0 win away against Brabrand was their fourth win in a row. After the win in Brabrand, AB occupies third place in the table. FC Roskilde are in seventh place in the table and are pushing hard to get into the top six. They come into the match with four points from their last two matches. 3-3 at home to Skive and last Saturday with a 2-1 win over Frem in Valby. Christoffer Thrane and Mican Atici are back from suspension and Lucas Koch is back from injury and all three return to the squad. Referee Philip Warburg has been chosen to officiate the game and he will be assisted by Sidsel Fabricius Dall and Ulrik Gøtze on the lines. Head coach Patrick Birch Braune: “We’re looking forward to the match. We got a really good win in Brabrand. It’s no secret that we’ve had a good period, even though we’ve been hit by injuries and suspensions. We’re doing some things at the moment that are right and we need to keep doing them. We were good in Brabrand and scored two goals from build-up play to finishing play and set up the game really well. In the second half we were cynical and let them have the game. We need to take that maturity into the game against Roskilde. Roskilde is a slightly wounded club this year. They have a really good team and a talented squad. I expected them to be at the top of the table.
