Akademisk Boldklub A/S has accepted a transfer of defender Hørdur Askham, who will move to FC Roskilde for a transfer fee and potentially future add-ons.
Askham, 29, joined AB in July 2023 and has played 21 games for the club, scoring two goals.
“Hørdur is top professional with his approach and attitude about his work, and we would like to thank him for his efforts at the club,” says sports director Jen Chang.
“We have a good group of young centre-backs who deserve to get more playing time, and so it made sense for us to accept a good offer from FC Roskilde.”
Hørdur Askham will remember his time in AB with great pleasure.
“I am grateful for the time I have had in AB, where I have met so many fantastic people. I would like to thank AB’s fans for their eternal support, and for welcoming me. I will miss my teammates and the good teamwork,” says Hørdur.
