High school students on football school stay in Bagsværd

During this week, a group of 22 American high school students have gathered for a football school stay in Denmark. The collaboration has been created through AB’s talent academy and their network in the US.

On Monday, the boys arrived at Skovdiget, eager to play football. At the facility, they have worked hard together with the club’s academy coaches towards two training matches against AB’s and FA 2000’s talented U-teams. Two games that yesterday both ended with victory for the boys.

The rest of the week’s program will be filled with training sessions with instructive exercises and tactical teaching, which aim to introduce tactical concepts to challenge their understanding of football.

At the end of the week, the boys from Middlesex Prep School will also have the chance to experience AB’s match against FA 2000 in Frederiksberg as well as Superliga football in Parken.

Erik Stover, CEO of AB, is excited about the visit. He says: “It is a great pleasure to welcome the Middlesex School students to our football tour programme here in Denmark. Together with our academy and the valuable network in the United States, we have created a great exchange program. Not only football-wise, but also culturally. This week has been filled with intense training and exciting matches, and there is no doubt that the boys will have memories for life.”

We wish all the boys an unforgettable week in Bagsværd and Gladsaxe!
