Tomorrow, Saturday 21 October, AB will play away against Brabrand IF. Weather permitting, AB Gladsaxe will once again travel to Aarhus to face Brabrand IF tomorrow, Saturday 21 October. Referee Jonas Bøgelund whistles the match at 14.00.

It is the first game of the second half of the season, where AB will face all the teams in the 2nd division once again. In the two clubs’ first clash in August at Gladsaxe Stadium, the match ended 1-1. Brabrand IF took the lead in the 31st minute and Tim Freriks equalized in the 69th minute.

AB has often struggled with Brabrand IF and has had a hard time. Brabrand IF is low on the pitch and it can be difficult to find space to play in. AB usually has plenty of games, but Brabrand IF is lurking in transitions that can be really dangerous. Brabrand IF has Tobias Wittus Olesen in quarantine. After last Saturday’s draw, AB is out of the top-6 and now occupies 7th place with 14 points. Brabrand IF occupies 11th place with 6 points.

Rasmus Brodersen says: “It was a disappointing result at home last Saturday against Skive IK. We have to create more chances and be better and sharper in the final third. The most positive thing is that we keep a clean sheet and keep them from chances. We have to win such a game. In this weekend’s game against Brabrand, we must try to create more chances and still keep a clean sheet. We have to be able to play in the conditions and pick up three points. That’s the only thing that counts. The mood in the squad is good. We are sorry that we do not win, because we aim to win all the games. But the faith is there 110%.”

Head coach David Roufpanah continues: “Compared to the last game, we have to play a lot faster. Brabrand is a different type of team than Skive, so we have to attack and defend in a different way. We have had really good energy in training during the week and the players are ready for the game. We know that it is a physical opponent we have to face. They work well together and we have to be prepared for a high-energy game.”

The coaching staff chooses the starting line-up based on the following players:
