Due to the cold winter conditions and the frozen condition of the pitch, Gladsaxe Municipality has made the decision to close the stadium for the rest of the year. This decision has been made with a view to the safety of the players and to preserve the quality of the pitch for the resumption of the football season in March 2024.
The frozen court presents some challenges that require extensive maintenance and court heating, which is essential to ensure optimal playing conditions. Therefore, Gladsaxe Stadium will remain closed until 2024.
This also means that the planned quarter-final match in the Oddset Cup against FC Nordsjælland, which was scheduled to be played at Gladsaxe Stadium on 9 December at 15:30, will unfortunately be moved to another stadium. More information will follow very soon.
We understand that this may be disappointing for our fans, but we have to prioritize the safety of our players.
