AB Gladsaxe played today, Saturday, the sixth training match leading up to the start in March, when AB metthe Sundby Boldklub in Kløvermarken. It was the fourth win in a row, and AB could go home to Gladsaxe with a 2-0 victory.

However, it never became ABs battle. The game was slow, without rhythm and coherence and many Ball loss for most of the match. Sundby Boldklub’s players took a fresh approach , played fast and pressed AB.

Compared to the starting eleven in the last training match against Næstved, it was only Noah Ibsen who was a regular.

AB did not get off to a good start and lost the ball several times in the middle of the pitch . Each time, S triedundby BK with fast play forward and finishes, which however did not lead to anything because AB’s defense or Albert Gaub-Jacobsen managed to fend off.

It was a very even game with many duels and fighting for every ball. AB came more into the game as the half progressed. However, AB did not have many finishes – the closest came Noah Ibsen, Yael Liesbek and Ægir Jarl Jonasson with good attempts.

After 24 minutes, Sundby had a great chance, when they shot a ball far forward on the field. The wind took the ball and the went over Albert Gaub-Jacobsen, who had run into the box. The ball is parried on the line. Therefore, 0-0 at half-time.

From the start of the 2nd half, Marcus Bobjerg replaced Albert Lynx-Jacobsen in goal. AB came better out for the 2nd half and already after three minutes Onesime Tembe a great opportunity that however was parried by Sundby’s defense. A quarter of an hour into the 2nd. The substitutions did AB well, and there was more pace in the game. August Hlynsson After a good pass from Frederik Lindgaard, we got the opportunity to take the trip across the pitch. He did and played gang with Søren Ilsøe, took a few moves and shot all the way down in the opposite corner to lead 1-0 after 83 minutes. Marcus Bobjerg had to parry an otherwise good finish from the referee in the referee’s overtime. Sundby. It went differently in three minutes of injury time, when the ball was handed to O’Vonte Mullings in a lightning fast play, who in the middle of the goal made a couple of quick moves and unselfishly passed to Noah Engell, who scored safely for the game’s score of 2-0.

Head coach Joey Gudjonsson was not satisfied with the energy in the 1st half and thought that some of the players did not give enough.

It’s disappointing, andI’m not satisfied, because I think we messedwith their terms. We were a bit sloppy and slow, especially in the build-up to the game. It was especially in the 1st half, where I felt that the players only used 80% today – I’m not happy about that. We have to be much better than we were in the 1st half. Mental Inthe was not good enough. We held back and were not organized. It didn’t look like a good team performance in the 1st half, but that changed in the 2nd half, where we did much better, and I’m happy about that.

We wanted to give as many players as possible as much playing time, and some players got 90 minutes,sOh it was good. Now we play again on Monday, and there it will also be a goal to give close to 90 minutes to the players who didn’t get as much playing time today, so we’re ready for the start of the season,” head coach Joey Gudjonsson concluded.

The next match will be played on 24 February, and it is the last training match before the start of the season. Brøndby’s reserve team welcomes at Brøndby Stadium on pitch 3 on Monday at 11:00.
