AB has added Fabiana AlcalĂ to the coaching staff. Fabiana has been hired as the club’s new health and performance coach. She will be present when the team meets for the first training on Friday 12 January.
“Fabiana stood out among the many candidates for the position, both with her background and her view on how to work with the team,” said head coach David Roufpanah.
“She has an interesting approach to learning and is very dedicated. I look forward to having her on our staff, and I am excited to see what we can achieve together in AB.”
Fabiana comes to AB after more than four years in RCD Espanyol’s academy, where she has had both strength and conditioning coaching and coaching roles. She holds a master’s degree in High Performance Sports & Sports Science from the Universidad Europa de Madrid and a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from the University of Mount Olive in North Carolina.
“I am really happy to have the opportunity to become part of the AB family and to work with such a fantastic team of coaches and players at the club. Being here is a great opportunity for me to learn from the best and help the team achieve their goals,” she says.
