AB Gladsaxe will play tomorrow, Saturday 18 November, the last match of the autumn in the 2nd division at home at Gladsaxe Stadium, where FA 2000 will visit.

The match will be whistled for by the match referee, Frederik Svendsen, at 13.00 on grass pitch 3, which is located in front of the new stand. The show track cannot be used due to the heavy rain.

It is a very important match for AB in the effort to winter in the top-6, so points are very much needed on the account. AB is currently in 6th place with 19 points.

AB will have to put last week’s 3-0 defeat against HIK in Gentofte behind them. We must expect the team to come out to the match with a completely different attitude and attitude, so that the match against HIK can quickly be forgotten.

AB has Tim Freriks in quarantine, FA 2000 has Lasse Berg Pedersen in quarantine.

In the first meeting of the two teams in August in Frederiksberg, the match ended 2-2. Hørður Askham equalized for AB in the 95th minute. Hørður is not available for Saturday’s match against FA 2000, as Hørður is at the European Championship qualifiers with the Faroese national team.

FA 2000 is in 11th place in the 2nd division with 12 points. The team lost their last game 4-1 at home against Aarhus Fremad.

Last week, FA 2000 chose to change the head coach. Jonas Hjortshøj has resigned, and Semere Haile has taken over the head coach responsibility. Semere Haile has a past in AB both as a player and in various coaching functions.

Rasmus Brodersen says after today’s training: “We have to finish well so that we can go on holiday with a good feeling in relation to the tournament. First and foremost, we have to correct what we did last weekend. We have to have more intensity and we have to fight more. We have to continue with the game we have shown in other games and then we have to make sure that they don’t get so many chances to score goals. The play in the last game was not acceptable and we now have to show that we can do better. We have to play according to the conditions, and then we have to get 3 points.”

Head coach David Roufpanah says these words about Saturday’s game: “We’ll see how they play. They have a new coach, who has only had one game with the team as head coach. We are prepared for anything. We are hungry to win a game, because the last game was definitely not good. Now we are focusing on FA 2000 and we have worked on some of the things that we did not think were good. There is a good feeling in the team, so it’s just a matter of going in and fighting. It’s a November game, it’s cold, and the pitch is soft. But that’s how it is sometimes, and it’s the same for both teams.”

The coaching staff chooses the starting line-up from these players:
