Akademisk Boldklub A/S has entered into an agreement regarding the loan of striker, Christian Wagner, to Thisted FC until the summer of 2025.
AB’s head coach sees the loan agreement as a good match: “We are very pleased that Thisted has given Wagner an opportunity to apply for regular playing time in the division. I have a lot of faith that he is a striker who can help us in the future, and the best thing for him right now is to play every week and hopefully score goals.”
21-year-old Wagner moved to AB in July 2023 and has played 42 games in the 2nd Division, contributing 7 goals and 3 assists.
“There is a lot of competition for playing time among our strikers, and after good talks with Christian, we have agreed that a loan stay in Thisted this spring is the right step,” says AB’s sports director, Jen Chang and continues: “Hopefully he will play a lot of minutes at Thisted FC and can continue to develop his game. before he returns to us in the summer.”
The striker came to AB from Aab, where he has also played throughout his youth career. He has previously played for Viborg FF.
