Anton Basbas Pedersen leaves AB
22-year-old center-back Anton Basbas Pedersen leaves Akademisk Boldklub Gladsaxe after spending a season and a half at the club. Prior to his return to AB, he played for both HIK and FC Roskilde at senior level, as well as for AB, FC Nordsjælland and OB in his youth years. During his time at AB, Anton was a fixture in the team, playing 41 matches in the green jersey. A huge effort “I’ve been incredibly happy with Anton. He’s been a regular since he joined the club and has put in a huge effort. He returned to AB, which is his childhood club, and has meant a lot to the team. Unfortunately, our paths part here, but we wish Basbas all the best for the future.” says head coach Patrick Braune Birch. Seeking new pastures After a long contractual dialog between the club and Anton Basbas Pedersen, both parties have agreed to go their separate ways, giving Basbas the opportunity to pursue new challenges at a higher level.
