Albert Nørager is moving with immediate effect to Kolding IF, who have bought the left-back free for an undisclosed amount.

AB and the newly promoted players from the NordicBet league, Kolding IF, have agreed on the terms regarding the sale of Albert Nørager.

Albert Nørager says about the change: “It is with great sadness that after almost 20 years in AB it is now time to say goodbye. A farewell that is certainly not taken lightly considering how much the club has filled in my life since I started in AB as a 4-year-old. Here I met friends for life, and over the years I have also had the pleasure of meeting a lot of other fantastic people, and not least really talented players, with whom I have formed strong relationships. In addition, a huge thank you must go to those of you who have spent so many hours traveling Denmark to support AB and us players. I speak on behalf of the entire squad when I say that it means more than you know. I am deeply grateful that AB has given me the opportunity to take the next step in my football career. In addition, I of course wish AB all the best in the future, and I look forward to visiting Gladsaxe Stadium as a fan.”

Nørager made his debut for AB’s first team in 2018 and has played 118 games for the club. He managed to score 9 goals and make 15 assists in the AB shirt. In addition, Nørager was also the team captain several times in the previous season.

AB CEO Erik Stover says the following about the transfer: “Albert has been an extremely important player for us over the years. We are sad to say goodbye to him. It is not something we wanted to happen, but we do not want to stand in the way of the players’ ambitions. We understand that Albert wants to challenge himself at a higher level, and we wish him all the best at his new club.”

Everyone at AB thanks Albert for 20 years of dedication to the club and wishes him all the best for the future.
