Albert Nørager celebrates 100-match anniversary
Albert Nørager played his 100th senior match in the green jersey on Saturday against BK Frem. It’s an extraordinary achievement. Albert will also be honored at Sunday’s match at Gladsaxe Stadium against HIK. Albert started in AB as a 5-year-old and has been here ever since. As the years went by, some stopped playing football, others changed clubs, but Albert stayed with AB for 17 years until now. He made his first-team debut in 2018 and at the age of 19 he signed his first professional contract. He has played 100 games and has scored 8 goals.
Albert is well-liked both on and off the pitch. He’s a calm guy and a good buddy. He doesn’t take up much space off the pitch, but inside the lines, he can be decisive. Head coach Patrick Birch Braune says: “Congratulations to Albert on the 100-match anniversary. It’s huge and you don’t see that in many clubs. Albert is loyal and faithful, he’s one of the team’s profiles and culture bearer. We are very happy that Albert, in his 17th year, will continue to contribute with his football knowledge, energy and be part of the AB community.” Congratulations Albert!
