Akademisk Boldklub turns 135 years old on 26 February 2024. It is with great pride that Akademisk Boldklub announces our 135th anniversary as a historic institution that has shaped Danish sport through generations. Not only does our club have an impressive past filled with trophies and triumphs, but we are also a contemporary club that embraces new thoughts, great facilities and a healthy club culture.
Over the years, Akademisk Boldklub has collected countless trophies and titles, cementing our place in Danish sports history. We are a multi-sport club that offers a wide range of sports and our members have the opportunity to derive their passion for football, handball, cricket, tennis and padel.
We believe that sport is not only about competition, but also about community, personal development and health. Our large sports facility in Bagsværd is the heart of our activities, where our members can meet, train and create memories together.
But our club is more than just a collection of sports facilities. We are an embracing club that values inclusion, diversity, and respect for all of our members regardless of background or ability. We believe in creating an environment where everyone feels welcome and supported in their journey to become better at their sport while growing as a person.
Our 135th anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on our rich heritage, but it is also a celebration of our future visions and ambitions. We look forward to continuing to be a dynamic and innovative force in Danish sport and to inspiring and engaging our members and communities for many years to come.

Akademisk Boldklub invites you to an anniversary reception on Thursday 18 April at 17.30 – 19.30. The anniversary reception will be held in AB Sportscafé at Skovdiget in Bagsværd.
