A new collection of AB merchandise is available now!
Akademisk Boldklub Gladsaxe has partnered with KnowledgeCotton Apparel to produce a collection of sustainable AB merchandise made from 100% organic cotton.
“Implementing sustainability is one of the important changes we are making at AB Gladsaxe,” says CEO Erik Stover.
“Every day, we take small steps to improve in this area, and KnowledgeCotton Apparel provides us with top-quality lifestyle merchandise that our fans can be proud to wear.”
KnowledgeCotton Apparel was founded in 1969 in Herning and manufactures lifestyle clothing from certified organic and recyclable materials. KnowledgeCotton Apparel’s mission is to empower the conscious consumer to choose fashion, without having to compromise on style, comfort or quality.
“Sustainability has always been at the core of our organization, and we need more people like AB Gladsaxe to show and lead the way for a brighter future. We need to take care of our beautiful planet, and therefore all industries need to have a critical and sustainable approach in all decisions made in a company – AB Gladsaxe are first-movers in their industry. “This partnership came about a bit by accident,” says Stover. “On a shopping trip, I noticed a t-shirt with an owl as a logo and a text on the back that said, ‘it’s time we start treating our planet as if we’re planning to stay’, and I thought that was the perfect message. It is a company that we can work with long-term.”
AB Gladsaxe’s next home game is against HIK on Friday 18 August at 19. Here, AB’s and Knowledge Cotton Apparel’s collection will be available in the shop and on the club’s webshop.
