Akademisk Boldklub Gladsaxe has decided to terminate the collaboration with head coach Patrick Birch Braune and assistant coach Stefan Payberg Larsen with immediate effect.
“Patrick has played a large and significant role in AB’s recent history across a number of different areas of responsibility, and we would like to express our gratitude for all his hard work and for all that he and his staff have achieved. We wish both Patrick and Stefan all the best in the future,” says Managing Director Erik Stover.
The board of directors has begun the process of finding and recruiting a new head coach.
“Although recent results have been disappointing, this very difficult decision was not only based on our results on the pitch, but rather reflects a difference in approach and long-term philosophy that became apparent in the spring. We are ambitious and want to create success for AB, and going forward we will work to ensure that our vision is clear and aligned”, explains Erik Stover.
The entire board of Akademisk Boldklub Gladsaxe and everyone in the club would like to thank Patrick Birch Braune and Stefan Payberg Larsen for their great efforts throughout the years.
