AB A/S has signed a contract with Mikkel Nielsen. Mikkel Nielsen is 24 years old and has spent the last 3 seasons at FC Roskilde and is doing both right and left back.
“Mikkel has been with us throughout the start, and he comes with a great energy that he brings with him to the dressing room. Mikkel has recovered very well from his injury that has kept him out for a long time, so I’m really happy that we have been able to add him to the team.” Says head coach Joey Gudjonsson.
Mikkel is a product of Hvidovre’s academy and comes with experience from both the NordicBet League and the 2nd division for Hvidovre and FC Roskilde, respectively.
“Mikkel can play both right and left back and that gives us good depth and more opportunities in the positions.” Says sports director Jen Chang.
Mikkel Nielsen says: “I am very much looking forward to playing for AB. It’s a traditional club with good values and great fans, which I’m also looking forward to playing in front of.”
Mikkel Nielsen has chosen shirt number 3.
In addition, Ilias Namli has chosen to move on after his contract expired with AB at the end of June. Ilias has trained with him in the beginning, but has chosen to seek playing time elsewhere. Namli reached 17 games for AB, where he scored 2 goals in the Oddset Cup.
