AB A/S has signed a contract with Yael Liesdek from SC Telstar. Liesdek is 22 years old and primarily plays at right-back, but can also play on the left side. For the past 3 seasons, he has trained in the second best Dutch league for SC Telstar, where he has made 56 appearances for the club.
“We are very pleased to have been able to lure Yael to Denmark. He comes with a lot of senior experience, which will help lift the experience in the locker room,” says head coach Joey Gudjonsson.
“Yael is an exciting full-back with speed and great experience from Dutch football. He can play both on the right and left side, and the addition of him really strengthens our already talented group of full-backs,” said sporting director Jen Chang.
Liesdek is a product of the Alphonse Boys academy, from where he made the trip to Roda JC to play U17, and HVV Hollandia for U19.

Liesdek has chosen shirt number 2.
Furthermore, AB released Emiliano Gomez, who is going back to Argentina. Gomez made 35 appearances for the club with 4 goals as a result. The goal against Veje on 1 November in the cup gave access to the quarter-finals of the Oddset Cup.
