AB signs with young offensive player

AB A/S has signed the 19-year-old offensive player Malte Melin. He joins from FC Midtjylland’s academy.
Head coach Joey Gudjonsson says, “Malte is a talented player with great potential. I am very much looking forward to working with. He comes in with great drive, and it will be exciting to follow his development at senior level.”
Melin made 36 appearances for FCM’s U19 team, scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists. Malte participated in the friendly match against FA2000, where he got both an assist and a goal.
“Malte gives us some flexibility and depth in our offensive positions,” says sports director Jen Chang. “He has promising potential and has shown good mentality and character in the dressing room.”
Malte Melin says, “I look forward to starting in AB, and have great expectations. I hope to contribute to the team’s success, develop as a player, and create good relationships both on and off the pitch. I am excited about the new challenges and look forward to giving my best in every training and match. Fans can expect a player with a go-getter. A player who wants to have the ball and challenge your opponent and contribute with goals and assists.”
Malte Melin will pull shirt number 20 over his head. Welcome Malte!
