AB has signed Canadian full-back/winger O’Vonte Mullings. 23-year-old Mullings has most recently played for MLS club New York Red Bulls.
“In O’Vonte we have found another player who we are sure will suit our style of play,” says head coach David Roufpanah.
“His versatile attributes allow us to play him both as a full-back and a winger. Mullings has already shown that he can bring quality to both penalty areas and that he has the ability to deliver channce-creating passes to his teammates.
After being drafted 20th overall in the first round of the 2022 MLS SuperDraft from Florida Gulf Coast University, Mullings spent two seasons with the New York Red Bulls – captaining the New York Red Bulls II, as well as with the first team.
Mullings managed to play 56 games for the New York Red Bulls II, where he scored 6 goals and 11 assists. He also appeared in 3 games for the New York Red Bulls and made his MLS debut on May 18, 2023 against Toronto FC.
Mullings played as a right-back, right-winger and left-back for the club.
