AB brings in former AB goalkeeper Filip Mellbin. Filip has most recently played for Næstved in the NordicBet League.
“Filip is a very talented young goalkeeper who already has a lot of experience in senior football at NordicBet Liga level,” says head coach David Rüfpanah.
“He has a strong mentality and will strengthen our goalkeeper group. We are very happy to have Filip home to AB.”
Mellbin as ar 20 years old, has played 48 games for AB ́s U19 team between 2020-2022. He moved to Næstved in the summer of 2022.
“I am extremely happy to be back in AB and familiar surroundings. The squad contains huge quality, and my hope is to contribute to the club’s great ambitions. I can’t wait to be back at Gladsaxe Stadium and feel AB’s fantastic fans again”
Loan deal for talented player
In addition, midfielder Hakim Sighaoui will be loaned out to Vanløse IF until June 2024.
“We are very pleased that we have found a good solution for Hakim. He is a young talented midfielder who needs more playing time to develop his decisions in matches, and there is a prospect of that in Vanløse,” says David Roufpanah.
Goodbye to Ndukwu
The club has also said goodbye to midfielder Layton Ndukwu. Ndukwu moved to AB in July 2023 and made 13 appearances for AB with two goals to his name.
