Akademisk Boldklub Gladsaxe has signed a 3-year contract with the young AaB striker, Christian Wagner. The poisonous striker has impressed with his ability to score goals at youth level. Christian Wagner has previously been the top scorer for AaB’s U13, U14, U15, U17 and U19 teams, and he has also played for Viborg’s first team for a season and a half, where he made two appearances for the club, as well as a loan spell in Norwegian Moss.
After a short period back in AaB’s reserves, where he is recorded for 8 goals and 3 assists in just 9 games in the spring season, AB has now secured the Jutland striker until the summer of 2026.
The talented striker is looking forward to putting on the AB jersey and playing at Gladsaxe Stadion. He says, among other things: “I’m really looking forward to putting on the jersey and playing in front of our fans. I hope I can entertain them with some good football, but most of all I hope I can help lift the club to new heights.”
Christian Wagner is determined to contribute with his ability to score goals and assists as well as help create a good training culture on the team.
He adds: “I would describe myself as a traditional number 9 with a good nose for goal. I have a good kick and can shoot with either foot, but I am also good at finding my teammates on the pitch.”
“The club’s ambitions and goals fit perfectly with my own. I want to help build something good with AB and get the club back to the top of Danish football,” Christian elaborates.
Everyone at the club warmly welcomes Christian to the AB family.
