AB picks up new fullback
19-year-old fullback Marcelo Randolf joins AB to strengthen the team ahead of the spring matches. Randolf comes from FC Nordsjælland, where he has played in the U-19 league this season. Now he’s moving to AB Gladsaxe, where he will strengthen both the team’s defense and offense as an offensive back. “I typically play as a fullback or wingback and have spent my youth years in FC Nordsjælland. Now I’m ready to try my skills at senior level,” says Randolf. “I hope to contribute to moving AB forward and help the club achieve its future goals.”
From his base in Farum, Randolf has this season noticed how AB has developed positively, both in relation to the current season and the ambitions of the new majority shareholder. “I think the team is playing some great football and the club has done well recently. At the same time, the AB project sounds exciting and ambitious,” says Randolf, who is looking forward to showing himself off to the AB fans. “I’m looking forward to meeting the fans and hope to see them all at the stadium when the season starts again.”
