AB meet HIK on Sunday at 13:00
AB Gladsaxe will meet our neighboring club HIK tomorrow, Sunday 30 October. HIK comes to the match with a 2-1 victory over Thisted at home. HIK occupies 10th place in the table. As you know, AB won last Saturday with 3-1 over Frem in Valby Idrætspark. A result that put AB in 4th place in the table. In the two clubs’ first meeting on September 2 in Hellerup, AB won 4-2 after trailing 2-0. Before the match, Albert Nørager will be honored for his 100th match for AB’s 1st team. Simon Holden is happily back in the squad after sitting out for an extended period with a bad ankle injury he sustained in training. Head coach Patrick Birch Braune says: “We face HIK after a good win away against Frem, and we will try to follow that up. We always play some close games against HIK, who have had a difficult fall. There’s a lot of quality in the team with a lot of speed. I think it can be an entertaining game where we can hopefully hurt them. We made a great comeback last time we met, going 2-0 down at halftime and winning 4-2. Now we would like to get ahead in the match and of course still win the match”.
