AB Gladsaxe brings in the creative offensive player Tim Freriks from VV Katwijk on a two-year deal.
The 194 cm tall Freriks received his football upbringing at KFC in 1910, after which he moved to Eredivisie club FC Groningen. By the age of 20, Freriks had already made seven appearances in the Dutch top flight.
Last season, Freriks showed great on Katwijk’s right wing, where he is listed for 11 goals and 7 assists in 37 games for the club.
On the new signing, head coach David Roufpanah says: “Freriks is a hard-working and strong offensive player who can easily switch between playing striker and winger. As a player with a good goal instinct, he will be important for us in the coming season. Although he will contribute significantly to our attacking play, he will also make a huge effort defensively. In my talks with Tim, it has been clear that he possesses a huge football drive and a huge desire to prove himself to our fans.”
Everyone in the club welcomes Tim Freriks.
