AB Gladsaxe signs agreement with Lucas Ørneborg
AB Gladsaxe has signed 20-year-old Lucas Ørneborg, who previously played U19 for FCK and Lyngby BK. Lucas has also been in Lyngby BK’s Superliga squad. Lucas is an offensive player. He has scored many goals in his career, and this is one of the skills he brings to AB. Head coach Patrick Birch Braune: “Welcome to Lucas, who is a challenging offensive player with speed in his legs and is a good finisher. We became aware that Lucas was club-free when he had turned down a deal with a foreign club. This fall, it came up again, so we got in touch again and Lucas has been training with us for the past month. In that relatively short time he has shown himself on the training pitch and we see Lucas and AB as a good match.” Lucas Ørneborg: “I’m really happy that I’ve signed with AB. I’ve been in training for a while and have settled in well, I think. There are some good players and a good coaching team. I’ve watched some games and it’s gone really well. AB plays in a way that suits my style of play, and it’s a club on the rise. There are ambitions for more than the 2nd division, and that fits well with my own ambitions for the future. So I want to be part of that journey. I hope and expect to score a lot of goals and AB is a team where you can do that.” Welcome to Lucas from everyone at AB Gladsaxe.
