AB Gladsaxe says goodbye to Daniel Warmbach after almost 20 years at the club

After almost two decades as a central part of the AB family, the club today bids farewell to midfielder Daniel Warmbach at Gladsaxe Stadium.

Warmbach, who has been an integral part of the club since he was 4 years old, leaves a big mark on everyone in and around AB. He is now leaving the club to explore new challenges.

During his time at AB, Daniel Warmbach has not only demonstrated his abilities on the pitch, but has also been an indispensable leadership figure as the team’s vice-captain. His dedication and leadership has made him a respected figure among his teammates and coaches.

Warmbach is a well-liked teammate and throughout his time at the club he has helped create a positive and inclusive environment for everyone around him.

Unfortunately, Warmbach has been plagued by injuries in the past few years that have kept him out for long periods of time.

Daniel Warmbach says: “It’s hard to say goodbye to AB after almost 20 years at the club. However, I have been so privileged to play with many of my best friends for so many years, and it will be strange not to have to see them on a daily basis. I have had fantastic coaches and people around the team who have made AB magical. In addition, a huge thank you to the fan club for the eternal support! I will leave here with memories and friends for life and wish the club all the best in the future!”

Managing Director, Erik Stover, says: “I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Daniel for his many years of dedication, professionalism and contribution to the club. His leadership, dedicated loyalty and fantastic work will always be remembered by both players and fans. The club wishes Daniel the best of luck with his new challenges and future career.”

Daniel Warmbach has to play 109 games in the AB jersey.

Everyone at AB thanks Daniel Warmbach for his time at the club and wishes him good luck with his new challenges.
