Akademisk Boldklub Gladsaxe is entering into a major partnership with the internationally recognized Danish sports brand Select Sport, which will become the club’s new clothing partner from the upcoming season until the summer of 2028.
Director Erik Stover says:
“We are very excited to get started with our partnership with Select Sport. They are a growing local partner, whose headquarters are only a few kilometers from Gladsaxe Stadion. Select is a creative and innovative brand, and we look forward to an exciting and long-term collaboration. Not only do they make some of the best footballs in the world, but in the past few years Select has also developed to be among the best at delivering everything a club needs, including the playing equipment that the club will need in the coming years.”
Country Sales Manager for Select Sport, Peter Frank, adds:
“It is with great pleasure that we have entered into a total agreement with AB, which is one of the oldest and most traditional clubs in Denmark. We think that our values and geographical location fit perfectly and we look forward to being part of AB’s journey back to the top of Danish football. The fact that I also have a past in the club as a player does not make the agreement any less interesting for me personally.”
The agreement with Select Sport is a total agreement, which means that Select Sport will in the future supply balls, playing clothes, training equipment, sports care products, goalkeeper gloves and other team gear to the club’s first team from 01.07.23, as well as all youth teams from 1.7.2024 , just as the amateur department of Akademisk Boldklub Gladsaxe will also be part of the total agreement with Select Sport from next year.
