On a rainy Saturday, AB Gladsaxe started the last match of the season against Middelfart BK, who are in 4th place in the league. Jesper Sørensen made his official debut in goal and replaced Albert Gaub in yesterday’s game. After a long injury break, Hørður Askham also got playing time and made a strong comeback.
In an exciting match at Middelfart Stadium, AB secured an important 1-0 victory over Middelfart. The only goal of the game was scored by August Hlynsson in the 55th minute. AB’s defense was strong throughout the game, and debutant goalkeeper Jesper Sørensen kept a clean sheet. Despite several attempts from Middelfart, the home team did not manage to get the ball in the net.
Even though the game was characterized by the fact that it was the last game before a well-deserved summer break, it was a game of high intensity, where both teams fought hard to take the 3 points. Referee Oliver Alexander Stegemüller Fogh Simbold controlled the match with a sure hand throughout the match.
