AB signs 24-year-old winger Flamur Dzelili from Swedish Jönköpings Södra IF. Dzelili has signed a deal until the summer of 2026.
“Flamur has a lot of experience from both the second-best and third-best Swedish leagues. He has good offensive qualities,” says head coach David Roufpanah.
“In addition, he is a hard-working player with a strong defensive work rate. We believe that Flamur can help the team create more scoring chances and we are excited to see him in the AB shirt.” he elaborates.
Dzelili, who can play on either the left or right wing, began his career at Kalmar’s academy before being promoted to Kalmar’s first team in 2017. He appeared in 3 Allsvenskan games in the 2021/22 season with Varbergs BoIS. In the 22/23 season, he scored 1 goal and 4 assists in 21 Superettan appearances for Jönköping.
“I’m excited to get started. I really want to go in and give the team some energy, and contribute to the club’s ambitions. AB is a historic club with fantastic fans, and I am really looking forward to meeting them all very soon,” he says.
