2.5 more years for Nørager
Albert Nørager has signed a new contract that runs until summer 2025. He is looking forward to starting a new chapter in the green jersey. AB’s so-called “one club player” Albert Nørager will continue in the green shirt for some time to come. The left back joined the club at the age of 5 and he has no intention of it being any different. Albert Nørager has signed a new contract with AB, which expires in the summer of 2025. “It’s great, and it gives me some peace of mind. At the same time, I get the opportunity to be part of the journey and the new project in AB. It gives me some prospects for the future. I know that I don’t have to think about where I’ll be playing in six months or a year,” says Albert Nørager. This fall, he has impressed for the top team in the 2nd division with three goals and several assists in his 15 games for the team. “Like the rest of the squad, we’ve done well and beyond expectations. Things have come together. I’ve performed at a high level, and many of us have done that. It’s a very homogeneous squad, so when people start performing, it all comes together,” explains Nørager. Like many of the other team profiles, Nørager has a positive impression of the new owners of AB, Five Castles Football Group LLC. This has pushed Nørager’s decision to sign the long-term contract. “Before the change of ownership, there was a lot of doubt about the future of AB. Both financially and in relation to the conditions surrounding the team. After talking to the new owners, I became convinced that AB has a good future ahead of it. I was sold on the opportunities that AB can hopefully give me,” says Albert Nørager. Unlike Albert Nørager, Casper Haurvig and Adnan Curovic will leave the club at the end of the year.
