1-0 win over FA 2000 in training match
AB Gladsaxe traveled to Frederiksberg on Saturday to play a training match against FA 2000. AB occupies 3rd place in the 2nd division and FA 2000 is also in 3rd place but in the 3rd division. Unlike AB’s training match against HB Køge last Thursday, today’s training match was open to spectators. The coaching team had chosen the following starting line-up: Albert Gaub-Jakobsen (goal) Rasmus Møller Adrien Koudelka Daniel Warmbach Frederik Ellegaard Oliver Angus Alessio Alicino Marcus Mustac Gudmann Marcelo Randolf Lucas Ørneborg Asger Højmark-Jensen FA 2000 started well, put AB to several tests and had chances. One ended up on the crossbar, and otherwise Albert Højmark-Jensen, who was in goal in the first half, was careful with good interventions. AB worked their way into the match better and set up the combinations better. This resulted in some close chances. From here on, the match was evenly matched between two teams that are well matched and give each other a good training match. Oliver Børner (goal), Christian Espersen Troelsen, Gustav Overgaard Hansen, Christoffer Thrane, Emiliano Arrieta and Emiliano Gomez came on in the second half. AB controlled the game in the second half without creating any chances. Daniel Warmbach spiced up a fine performance in today’s match by playing Emiliano Gomez completely free in front of goal at the end of the match. FA 2000’s goalkeeper committed a clear penalty, which Frederik Ellegaard (as usual) scored safely to make the score 1-0. Head coach Patrick Birch Braune says: “A really good training match today. It was a really strong FA2000 team that had prepared for us and pulled some tools out of the toolbox that made it difficult for us. We solved that really well. It was the second match in two days, so there were many meters in the legs already. Considering that, I think we played a really good game today. We came out especially well in the second half and solved some of the challenges we were presented with in the first half. We put in the toolbox today and that’s why we came today – and of course a victory, that’s what we collect! Also, welcome back to Daniel Warmbach, who played a great game”.
